We are looking to recruit a Conveyancing Assistant for a highly regarded law firm based in Huntingdon.
You must have recent and relevant experience in a similar role and your responsibilities will include the following:

Opening new files and inputting new instructions onto the case management system and digital client onboarding platform.

Maintenance and update of CMS case/matter data relevant to transactions and parties.

Processing and checking client initial documents on the case management system.

Drafting sale contracts and other documents/correspondence.

Instructing searches.
-
Preparing for and handling completions.
-
Carrying out post completion tasks including registrations at HM Land Registry and filing of SDLT returns at HMRC.

Maintaining business diary of key dates and tasks.

Dealing with client enquiries in person, on the telephone and by email.

Liaising with external parties, to include other Solicitors, Estate Agents, Lenders and Mortgage Brokers.

Compliance with Conveyancing Quality Scheme, statutory obligations and firm policies including Anti-Money Laundering.
