My Client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Supervisor/Workign Foreman to join their team in Surrey. The successful candidate will oversee construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, project plans, and company policies. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:

Site Management:

Supervise daily site activities to ensure smooth operations and timely project completion.

Coordinate with site managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.

Monitor and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations.

Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits.

Health and Safety:
-
Implement and adhere to health and safety policies as per the SSSTS guidelines.

Conduct risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).
-
Provide site inductions and toolbox talks to the workforce.

Report and investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses.

Quality Control:

Ensure that all work is performed to the required standards and specifications.

Maintain accurate records of site activities, progress, and any issues that arise.

Address any non-compliance or quality issues promptly.

Team Leadership:

Lead and motivate the site team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring effective teamwork.

Liaise with clients, engineers, and other professionals to resolve any site issues.

Logistics and Planning:

Plan and manage site resources, including labor, materials, and equipment.

Coordinate deliveries and ensure proper storage and handling of materials.

Assist in the development and implementation of the project schedule.
Qualifications and Experience:
- SSSTS certification (essential).
- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry.
- Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Proficiency in using MS Office and project management software.
- Valid CSCS card and Either SSSTS or SMSTS
- Full UK driving license.
