Overview:
Jackson Hogg is delighted to be supporting a global FMCG business in the search for a National Account Manager. You will join a dynamic sales team and account manage the top four grocery retailers with full P&L responsibility. This is a well-known heritage brand who are looking to add to their team. This is a business who encourages internal promotion and has seen a lot of success with their current sales team. This is a great progression opportunity for someone with sales experience within grocery to continue to develop their career.
Responsibilities:

Managing relationships and building long-term partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

Full P&L ownership within the grocery channel with key delivery of top-line sales and profit for your categories to accelerate market share.

Implementation of the strategy across the retail market supported by execution and in-store activation.

Plan, develop, agree and implement an annual Joint Business Plan with each retailer, activating contingency plans where necessary.

Agree promotional forecast with Demand Planning to support the achievement of annual promotional plans and objectives.

Agree monthly promotional plans with customers, including secondary sites, trade marketing collaboration and online support.
Requirements:

Proven Experience in customer relationship management

Ability and confidence to sell commercial propositions, together with sound negotiation skills.

2+ years of account management or other commercial management experience in the grocery/retail market including one or all of the top four grocery accounts.

Commercial and financial awareness are required along with judgement, and skill to identify, negate and take commercial decisions, often under pressure.

Successful record of delivering results and continually demonstrating a sense of urgency.

Strong customer centric focus to identify opportunities, build and translate activity into executable plans.
