Technical Sales Engineer - The Role:
Takes initiative in developing sales strategies for accounts and leads within the UK market.
Manage own diary and sales visits
Update and track account activity on the business CRM system. (Salesforce)
Prepare, cost and present customer quotations for products and solutions
Creates added value for the customer and company by ensuring a co-ordinated sales approach (e.g. sale and service packages).
Ensures achievement of agreed sales targets (volume) and margins with a structured follow up and reporting process
Establishes and develops individual relationships based on a defined strategy.
Acts as focal point for system builder/solution provider
Identifies and prioritises opportunities.
Monitors competitors' activity with each account and ensures that appropriate response strategies are formulated and implemented.
Travel to European HQ or manufacturing sites for strategy & product release meetings may be required quarterly. (Germany, Sweden & Slovenia)
Technical Sales Engineer - The Person:
Strategic and value-based solution demonstrated sales experience
Must have Industry experience and knowledge of Servo Drives & Motors, Inverter Drives and Motion Control products
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
HND qualification or higher in a technical discipline
Presentable and able to interface with customers at all levels
Creative thinker with commercial focus and results orientation
Flexible, energetic and sociable team player
Basic salary negotiable and dependant on sales and industry experience.

Normal hours of work are 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
This role is based from home. The Greater Midlands would be an ideal location, but candidates will be accepted across the UK.
Working for this well known manufacturer the position is mainly Key Account Management for large automation businesses spending in excess of £250k per year.
