We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of PMO to lead and manage the Project Management Office (PMO) within our organization. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in contributing to the development of the IT programme and driving IT change across the business. This is a leadership position that requires excellent project management skills, exceptional communication, and the ability to lead and motivate a team.
About the Role
Lead and manage the PMO team, providing line management and guidance to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Develop and implement the project management framework, ensuring alignment with business objectives and IT programme goals.
Contribute to the development and execution of the IT programme, collaborating with stakeholders to drive IT change across the organization.
Oversee the governance, risk management, and compliance aspects of project delivery.
Act as a key liaison between the PMO and other business units, fostering strong relationships and ensuring effective communication.
About You
Proven experience in a leadership role within a PMO, with a strong track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
A strategic thinker with the ability to drive change and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the PMO.
Strong understanding of project management frameworks and methodologies, with relevant certifications such as PMP or Prince2 being highly desirable.
Ability to inspire and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive working environment.
A passion for driving change and innovation, with a focus on advancing the organization's IT capabilities and delivering value to the business.
