Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading provider of powered access machinery looking to recruit a new Area sales Manager to cover and develop their client base in postcodes across the Herefordshire area. With a strong package and long-term opportunity, this is a great role for an experienced sales professional within access, plant, tool or a related sector seeking an exciting and challenging opportunity.
Responsibilities
Managing an existing client base across the Herefordshire postcodes
Business development across the same area selling a variety of powered access equipment
Selling additional products to include IPAF training and hiring out of machinery
Take responsibility for region revenue stream and overall growth
To sell the company range of maintenance packages and other service products
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a proven background of having sold powered access equipment. Alternatively, experience within another construction related sector such as tool hire, crane or plant will also definitely be considered. Strong communication skills and a good work ethic are essential. In terms of locality, the candidate will ideally be based within the Herefordshire area but my client may look slightly further afield.
The Company
With multiple depots across the UK, the company are a well-known provider of various types of powered access equipment including cherry pickers, scissor lifts and low-level access. In addition to powered access, they’re also heavily involved in IPAF and other aspects of Health and Safety Training. Having been established for some time and their roots being in the Midlands, the company have grown organically to ensure smooth operations continue and now want to expand further across the Herefordshire area.
Benefits
Competitive salary dependent on experience (Up to £35,000 basic)
OTE £45,000-£50,000 achievable with both monthly and quarterly bonuses
