Job Title: Deputy Manager
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £23.00 per hour
This is a well-established and large nursing home in Nottingham, committed to providing high-quality care to their residents. Their dedicated team is passionate about delivering excellent standards of care in a supportive and nurturing environment. They are now looking for a strong-minded, natural leader to join their team as a Deputy Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the Home Manager in the day-to-day operations of the nursing home, ensuring a high standard of care is maintained at all times.
• Support and mentor the care team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Take charge in the absence of the Home Manager, ensuring smooth running of the home and continuous high-quality care.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with CQC standards and other regulatory bodies.
• Play a key role in staff development, including training, supervision, and performance reviews.
• Engage with residents and their families, ensuring their needs and preferences are met with compassion and professionalism.
Requirements:
• An NMC PIN is preferred, but we will consider exceptional candidates with significant experience in large nursing homes.
• NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care is preferred, or the willingness to work towards obtaining it.
• Proven experience in a senior care role within a large nursing home setting.
• Strong leadership skills with a natural ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for continuous improvement and the desire to progress within the company.
