This is an exciting opportunity to lead our finance team and oversee the financial reporting for a growing business newly part of a large corporate group. You will play a pivotal role as the finance liaison for the Senior Management Team and the Group Board overseeing management accounts, financial reporting and maintaining robust controls over transactional accounting processes.
The successful individual will be a strong communicator and problem solver with deep understanding of financial principles and be capable of contributing towards the businesses strategic direction and decision making. The role is based at our offices near Norwich in person.
Key responsibilities include:

Manage monthly accounts, overseeing preparation from forecast to financial statements both company internal and for group;

Lead the development and mentorship of the Finance team;

Coordinate and review month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial tasks;

Review the balance sheet reconciliation process;
-
Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting;

Plan and execute audit processes, ensuring prompt completion and maintaining positive auditor relationships;

Over see preparation and submission of year-end statutory accounts compliant with IFRS, legislative and Group requirements;

Develop and uphold robust processes and controls aligned with Group standards;
-
Ensure adherence to internal policies across all tasks and activities;

Continuously assess and enhance finance systems, processes and controls;
-
Implement the latest accounting policies and standards;
-
Undertake various ad-hoc projects as needed.
About you:

Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA with at least three years’ post qualified experience;

Thorough understanding of IFRS, current legislation and best practice;

Proven ability to ensure compliance with internal controls and audit processes;

Proactive in anticipating and responding to external business changes;
-
Proven experience in managing and developing teams and upskilling of non-finance colleagues in finance best practice;

Strong proven ability to successfully and appropriately influence and guide stakeholders both internally and externally.
