Work Pattern: Mon – Fri 08:30 to 17:30 Office based
I am recruiting for the UK’s largest independent company specialising in the installation and servicing of all makes and models of commercial equipment. They are looking for someone to help their Accounts team
You will work within the finance team supporting accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, controls and processes.
Responsibilities
• Sales Ledger – Raise sales invoices for external and internal customers and reconcile the sales ledger.
• Ensure that the sales ledger is fully reconciled.
• Answering customer queries
• Effectively manage all administrative tasks within the finance department such as correspondence, filing and printing.
• Maintain accurate and detailed customer records and create new customer accounts
• Prepare and enter journals into the company system.
• Support the preparation of financial accounts and month-end duties.
We are looking for someone who has some basic accounts or invoicing experience or has work with figures or financial administration
Required Skills/Experience:
• Minimum 1 year in Sales Ledger idealy
• Experience gained in all areas of finance is desirable
• Possess confident and effective communication skills (both written & verbal)
• Excellent and proven Customer Service skills
• Proven attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Deadline-oriented and proven ability to stick to time constraints
• Computer Literacy including knowledge of accounting systems and excel
• Positive and effective interpersonal skills and a team player
Terms
Salary circa £27-28,000 – dependant on experience
22 days holiday + Bank holidays (currently 8 days)
