Children's Registered Manager
Location: Guildford
Salary: £50,000 - £65,000
Future Salary: Up to £80,000 as a Dual Registered Manager
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Children's Registered Manager to oversee one or two 3-bed EBD homes in Guildford. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to progress into a dual registered position, with a salary increase to up to £80,000, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage the daily operations of the home(s), ensuring a safe, nurturing, and compliant environment.

Lead and develop the staff team, fostering a culture of excellence, resilience, and continuous improvement.

Develop, implement, and review individualized care plans, promoting the health, education, and well-being of each child.

Ensure compliance with all Ofsted regulations and standards, preparing for and participating in inspections.

Work collaboratively with children, families, local authorities, and other stakeholders to meet the children's needs and ensure their voices are heard.

Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory obligations.

Promote safeguarding and child protection, ensuring a safe environment for all children.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within a children's residential setting.

Strong understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, including safeguarding and child protection.

Effective leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building and maintaining a motivated and high-performing team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, staff, and external stakeholders.

Hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent.

Valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle with business insurance.
