Main duties of the job
Your Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the Roster system is current and operating efficiently.

This includes updating staff schedules and aligning them with shift/roster changes.

Be the point of reference for Roster system knowledge

provide advice on system-related matters, especially regarding rostering.

Conduct training sessions for staff at all levels in relation to rostering when required.

Willingness to take on other train the trainer training
-
Work with other teams to optimise system efficiency
-
Assist in collecting and analysing data to enhance the system.

Advocate for improvements that benefit everyone.

Support Fair, Safe, and Efficient Rosters
-
Ensure rosters are not just schedules but also meet fairness and safety criteria.

While prior rota experience is advantageous, training will be provided to develop your skills and knowledge.

The post will be primarily focused on rostering,

although the post holder may at times be asked to support other areas.

Update the roster system promptly to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Address any issues raised in accordance with policies.
-
Be an expert user of the rostering system.
-
Provide advice and support to team members for efficient system use.Consult with the system provider regarding issues or new releases.
-
Assist in analysing shift patterns and end-user requirements.Ensure accurate time sheets.
-
Collaborate with the Rostering leadership team to update policies based on feedback.Make constructive suggestions for system improvements.

Assist staff whose working conditions, patterns, and hours may change.Work with departments to optimise staffing establishments and schedules for 24-hour service.

Qualifications and Education (Essential)

Knowledge and Experience (Essential)

Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel. (Essential)

Managed a diverse range of tasks and activities.

Proficient in data presentation.

Utilised data to generate reports and presentations.
