The Role
Due to our continued success here at Fortem, we are delighted to confirm that we are currently seeking an Electrical Compliance Site Manager to join our project team delivering a variety of planned works.
Works include; communal lighting, door entry systems, re-wire and general maintenance of residential electrical systems, disability access, remedial repairs, smoke and fire protection. Properties will be a range of houses, high and low rise buildings within the social housing sector.

The Project
As the Electrical Compliance Site Manager, you will lead all electrical subcontractors in undertaking the required projects tasks within their designated branch, and you will be responsible for the management and planning of manpower, material and workflow. You will also ensure compliance with SHE including management of ‘risk’, and deputise for the Project Manager as and when required.

Essential And Desirable Criteria
Essential:
• Ideally, experience working at Electrical Supervisory / Management level
• 18th Edition electrical qualification or equivalent
• Role Appropriate CSCS card / SMSTS
• First Aid at work certificate
• Asbestos awareness
• Excellent understanding of building refurbishment of traditional & non-traditional housing stock
• Good working knowledge Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Valid driver’s license
Desirable:
• NVQ Level 3 or a City & Guilds electrical trade qualification.
• Experience in social housing
• CIOB or Construction related membership
• Knowledge of working with different contracts JCT/NEC
• Quality assurance
• Temporary works knowledge
