Our client, a global leader, is seeking a Global Mobility Business Partner. This role is critical in supporting the company's global talent and development strategy, ensuring a seamless experience for employees undergoing international moves. The position offers a hybrid working model based in London.
Role Purpose:
The Global Mobility Business Partner will manage international assignments and permanent transfers, providing expert guidance and support to both the business and mobile employees. This role focuses on delivering operational excellence, policy compliance, and enhancing the employee experience. The successful candidate will partner with various stakeholders, including talent engagement, reward, tax, payroll, and external vendors, to support the company's Global Mobility (GM) program.
Key Responsibilities:
Service Excellence: Deliver a high-quality service to internationally mobile employees and the business, ensuring GM activities align with the company’s strategic objectives.
Lifecycle Management: Manage all phases of the assignment/transfer lifecycle, including briefings, documentation, cost analysis, and collaboration with vendors, systems, and payroll.
Operational Efficiency: Focus on operational excellence and data accuracy, ensuring a seamless GM process.
Global Collaboration: Work with stakeholders across multiple markets, providing proactive consulting and advisory services as the GM subject matter expert.
Policy Compliance: Ensure GM policies and processes are consistently followed, actively managing exceptions.
Project Engagement: Participate in ad-hoc projects such as operational efficiency improvements, policy review, and technology enhancements.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience: Proven experience as a global mobility specialist, preferably within an in-house GM function.
Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of global mobility practices, including immigration, tax, systems, and payroll.
Consultative Approach: A consulting mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
Adaptability: Able to quickly adjust to changing demands and priorities.
Relationship Building: Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across diverse cultures.
Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail and accuracy, with strong analytical capabilities.
System Proficiency: Experience using GM and HR systems.
