Working exclusively with a leading food packaging company we are recruiting an Account Manager to join their fantastic team. This is a wonderful opportunity to join an established growing company.
Whilst excellent Business Development acumen is required this role is also to support and maintain the existing long-term clients and in return you will be provided with full training and support on the product lines and processes, setting you up for success.
The successful candidate will have proven experience within the food or packaging industry and be able to demonstrate a methodical and persistent approach to building long term business, as such this is not a high-volume sales role but investing in long-term growth and relationship building with 75% working in the office and 25% on the road.
Key responsibilities:
Identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients and new partnerships
Building relationships with new clients, gauging their needs and developing proposals to address these needs.
Maintaining and developing relationships with current clients
Pitching sales and products to new and existing clients
Possess a strong understanding of the companies’ products, the competition in the industry and positioning.
