Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Claims Handler to join Derbyshire county Council’s Insurance Claims Team on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Key Duties:

Handling a busy caseload of insurance claims

Acting as the first point of contact for incoming customer queries

Monitoring and processing financial or budgetary information

Providing clear information and guidance to customers

Advising customers on processes and next steps on their claims
Requirements:

Previous experience of working in Customer Service, ideally within a claims or insurance environment

Proven initiative and judgement to resolve day to day problem

Good customer liaison and communication skills
Location – Matlock, 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
