Tailor Made are excited to be recruiting for a leading engineering company in Burnley. They are a well-established and are leader in their field. They are seeking a Marketing Assistant to join their creative Marketing team.
You will support the Marketing Manager in executing campaigns, conducting market research, creating content, and analysing marketing data. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
The role:
Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, social media, email, print, etc.)
Coordinate with the Marketing Manager and external suppliers to ensure timely delivery of campaign materials
Monitor and report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
Assist with conducting market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences
Compile and analyse data to support strategic decision-making and campaign planning
Assist in the creation of market research reports and presentations
Help develop and curate content for marketing materials, including technical content posts, social media updates, website content creation, newsletters, and promotional materials
Support the wider team with presentations/video content for technical post and customers presentations
Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and marketing strategies.
Collect and analyse marketing data from various sources (Google Analytics, social media analytics, LinkedIn etc.)
Generate reports on key metrics and performance indicators.
Provide insights to optimise marketing activities and improve ROI
Support the planning and execution of marketing events, such as trade shows, strategic updates, open days and employee events
Coordinate logistics, including venue booking, hotel bookings, materials preparation, and attendee registration
Assist in post-event analysis, reporting and following up leads
Attend and support events where necessary
Create and maintain marketing databases and customer relationship management (CRM) systems for the needs of the business
Assist in budget tracking and invoice processing
Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the marketing team
About you:
Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns across multiple channels, including digital marketing
Excellent understanding of marketing principles, brand management, and integrated marketing communications
An understanding of SEO best practices and implementation
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, metrics, and market research to make data-driven decision
Proficiency in marketing software and analytics tools
Strong interest in marketing and a desire to learn and grow in the field
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
A degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field is preferred but not essential
Relevant certifications or courses in digital marketing, social media management, and graphic design are a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Able to demonstrate proficiency with digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, social media management tools, social media platforms, Canva, Mailchimp or similar)
