Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client based in Sittingbourne, Kent for a Receptionist
The role entails:
- Taking inbound calls, dealing with any queries and directing them to the relevant member of staff if needed
- Taking brief but detailed notes from phone calls, ensuring that messages are passed to the relevant individual in a timely manner
- Greeting and directing visitors
- Issuing visitor passes when needed
- General administrative duties, including but not limited to: typing notes, processing paperwork onto the company’s systems, answering general enquiries, processing incoming and outgoing post, etc.
- Recording all induction requests and managing the induction calendar
- Carrying out inductions when needed
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience working in an administrator or receptionist role
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent organisation skills
- Good IT skills and the ability to learn new systems and processes
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team within a busy working environment
- The ability to maintain confidentiality is essential to this role
Other details;
- The rate of pay for this position is £13.89 per hour
- Afternoon shifts, 20-25 hours per week + holiday cover when required
