Certain Advantage are recruiting on behalf of our Automotive client for an IT Support Analyst.
This is a contract to start ASAP working inside IR35 initially until 31st Dec 2024 and requires you to be based 5 days onsite in Daventry. You must be willing to work onsite 100%
You'll be supporting the local sites by answering user inquiries regarding software / hardware operations and resolving their problems in a timely manner.
Typical tasks will include remote software installation, hardware testing, error detection and is expected to involve reading technical documentation, discussing with users and/or conducting diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems.
Key Skills and Competencies
Good customer service and interpersonal skills
Verbal and written communication skills
Problem solving skills,
Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks
Ability to work to existing standard operating procedures and processes
Knowledge of computer software, such as configuration management software, desktop communications software, operating system software and internet directory services software.
Required desktop experience:
Windows OS (Windows 10)
Active directory (basic knowledge)
DNS, DHCP
Printing services
Hardware configuration
Software troubleshooting
Run of the mill standard desktop support
