The Role of the Project Coordinator / Operations Support Manager
al brands.The Operations Support Manager is a pivotal role responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of IT infrastructure projects, including hardware installation and cabling. This multifaceted position requires exceptional organisational, administrative, communication, and analytical skills. The successful candidate will manage resources, handle stakeholder communication, and oversee multiple projects concurrently while maintaining high standards of performance and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities of the Planning Manager

Scheduling: Create and manage schedules to ensure timely project completion

Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate resources to ensure optimal project delivery.

Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders to align project goals and expectations.

Capacity Planning: Develop and execute capacity plans to meet project demands and maximise utilisation of available resource.

Resource Pool Management: Manage a pool of contractors to ensure resource availability and skill alignment.

Documentation: Produce and collate engineers' instructions and other necessary documentation. Issue handover documentation to clients on project completion.

Materials Requisition: Ensure the procurement of materials required for project execution.

Commercials: Prepare completed works for invoicing and assist with valuations for Work in Progress.

Skills Management: Ensure the team has the necessary skills and certifications for project requirements.

Collaboration: Work closely with Project Managers to ensure seamless project delivery.

Budget Management: Monitor budgets and escalate any risks to ensure financial efficiency.
Performance Monitoring: Assess performance to help drive improvements.

Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks to project success.

Health & Safety: Ensure all projects comply with health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.

Reporting and Analysis:Provide detailed reports and analyses to inform decision-making.

Continuous Improvement: Proactively engage with the companies’ philosophy for ongoing improvement in the service delivery processes.
Experience Required
Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end projects effectively.
Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to make difficult decisions.
Strong time management and organisational skills.
High level of commercial awareness.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure.
