We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to oversee a portfolio of client accounts and guide a team of dedicated staff members. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in competitive, performance-driven sectors, along with a strong grasp of technical SEO and content creation. Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills are essential for success in this role.
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for delivering top-tier digital marketing solutions to some of the UK's most promising brands while nurturing enduring relationships with clients. While prior experience in PPC and/or Paid Social Media is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to strategize and execute SEO & PPC campaigns that drive tangible value for their businesses.
- Supervise the performance of client accounts and integrate key insights into future initiatives.
- Analyze client websites, search results, and online marketing data to identify SEO & PPC opportunities within their respective markets.
- Partner with the Client Services Director to develop and implement link building strategies focused on achieving organic & paid reach, as well as SEO & PPC KPIs.
- Maintain high client retention rates by fostering long-lasting relationships and providing exceptional service.
- Ensure profitability of account work and demonstrate commercial acumen in workload allocation.
- Recommend changes to website architecture, content, and linking strategies to enhance SEO positions for target keywords.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and updates, sharing insights with the wider team.
Reporting Structure:
This role reports to the Client Services Director.
Requirements:
- Proficient in industry-standard SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog.
- Strong numerical and literacy skills.
- Exceptional time management abilities and the capacity to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrable experience in managing SEO & PPC accounts.
- Proven track record of building strong client relationships and delivering compelling presentations.
- Highly motivated, capable of independent work, and a team player.
- Preferable experience in mentoring junior team members.
- Skilled in crafting persuasive business documents, including new business proposals and campaign summaries.
- Efficient in managing multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation abilities.
- Proactive in identifying business opportunities and providing strategic solutions.
- Sound commercial understanding and proficient in creating 'Scopes of Work' and addressing client briefs.
