Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a large, very well established, utilities business in Leeds. This role is for a 14 month FTC to cover a maternity leave with the flexibility of hand over at both ends. The position will cover all Credit Control / Sales Ledger and you will directly report into the Finance Manager. You would be working within a fast paced office but the finance team are very supportive of each other and full company training will be provided.

Key responsibilities
Full responsibility of running the Credit Control Function
Managing customer Credit limits
Carrying out credit checks on new customers
Collecting of overdue accounts via phone and letter
Cash allocation
Full sales ledger responsibilities including weekly banking
Dealing with invoice queries
Account litigation where necessary
Data reconciliation and preparing reports for customers
Petty Cash handling
Month end close down
Monthly reporting of customer spends
Addition ad hoc duties as and when required
To be successful considered for this role, you will bring the following experience / skills:
Experience of working within a credit control position is essential
Qualifications to GCSE or NVQ2 level with passes in Maths and English at grade 3
MS Office packages with VLOOKUPS and Pivot Tables is desirable but training can be provided
