gap healthcare is currently recruiting for a new and exciting opportunity on behalf of our clients based in Braintree for an experienced Deputy Manager for vulnerable and complex young people who find themselves in residential care for a magnitude of reasons.
This role is permanent and fulltime, salary up to £38,000 per annum (based on experience).
Our client is searching for an experienced Deputy Manager that can effectively support of the rota and shift cover. The ideal candidate is required to ensure that the daily operational systems within the home are effective and meeting the needs of our young people and the home.
Main responsibilities will include:
Support the Registered Homes Manager in ensuring compliance with the company Policy and Procedures and meeting all OFSTED regulations.
That all staff act in a professional manner.
All policies and procedures, as well as risk assessments, are adhered to at all times.
All staff comply with the duty rotas and are included on a ‘rolling rota’, with flexibility, to gain maximum experience in the working methods of other staff.
Main Requirements:
previous experience in a similar role
thorough understanding of OFSTED regulations
driver and access to a car for work
