A Primary school close to Waterlooville is seeking a Year 6 Teaching Assistant to support interventions in Maths and English. This is an Ofsted "Good" rated school comprised of 2 classes per year group. This school is welcoming, inclusive where pupils and staff are proud to belong.
Job Description:
Desire to work in Year 6
Desire to support children with their SATs and interventions to fill gaps in learning
Working with small groups delivering interventions such as Reading, Maths and Literacy
Full time role with the opportunity of a permanent contract
Location: Waterlooville
Start Date: Late September 2024
Contract Length: Long Term – Potential to become permanent
Hours: full time
Individual Profile:
A nurturing and caring nature
GCSE Maths and English to A- C grade
Experience of working with additional needs (desirable)
Passionate, enthusiastic and resilient individual
Adaptable and sensitive when dealing with challenging situations
First Aid trained or be willing to be trained
