Health & Safety and Environmental Manager - Manufacturing – Portsmouth area
A Health & Safety and Environmental Manager is required for a manufacturing company based just outside of Portsmouth. This is a very good opportunity to join a growing team within a global manufacturing company with a strong emphasis on employee engagement and company culture.
The Job roles and Responsibilities:
As Health & Safety and Environmental Manager you will have the following job roles and responsibilities:

Create and deliver Health & Safety strategy and roadmap
-
Ensure H&S standards, policies etc are maintained
-
Drive the Health and Safety agenda
-
Deliver manual handling training
-
Guide management team and team members on HSE training
-
Effectively carry out accident and incident investigations
-
Continually working to improve performance targets
The requirements:
To be suitable for the position of Health & Safety and Environmental Manager you will ideally have the following:
-
NEBOSH certified – preferably Grad IOSH minimum
-
Experience in HSE management in high-risk environment
-
Excellent HSE system auditing experience
-
Understanding in behavioural HSE leadership
-
Computer literate
The Package:
The successful candidate for the role of Health & Safety and Environmental Manager will receive the following package:
