Restaurant & Bar Manager – £30,000 – Award Winning Hotel – Falmouth
Paramount Personnel is currently seeking an experienced Hotel Restaurant & Bar Manager to oversee the smooth running of a busy bar within a beautiful hotel in Cornwall.
You will oversee the management and operation of the hotel bar and support the F&B operations including bar and food service, functions and other events. The successful Restaurant & Bar Manager will have experience from a hospitality background, ideally as a Hotel Restaurant/Bar Manager.
As Restaurant & Bar Manager, you will be responsible for providing guests with drinks as requested in a professional manner and according to proper procedures and bar regulations. You will be a positive and charismatic individual, and be able to manage and lead from the front. As a Hotel Restaurant & Bar Manager, someone with experience within a restaurant setting would also be advantageous.
You must have experience from a Bar Manager and/or Restaurant Manager background, ideally from a Hotel background. Responsibilities of the successful Restaurant and Bar Manager to include;
– Ensure all guests receive their drinks as requested
– Maintain cleanliness of the bar and stores to Health, Safety & Hygiene standards at all times.
– Show complete awareness of all drink menus and readiness to explain and recommend drink contents to the guests.
– Maximise revenue and increase average spend per person through upselling, high customer service standards, effective training and motivational techniques.
– Demonstrate knowledge of all beverages served in the bar, how beverages are prepared (to recipe) and presented.
– Meet or exceed the monthly drink profit margin targets.
– Stock Management.
