Role Overview
The Key Account Coordinator (KAC) supports the Key Account Manager (KAM) by ensuring the smooth execution of key account projects. This role involves coordinating various tasks, managing logistics, and maintaining communication with internal teams and external stakeholders. The KAC plays a crucial part in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Project Coordination:
- Assist the KAM in planning and executing project activities.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure all project requirements are met.
- Track project timelines and milestones, ensuring adherence to schedules.
Order Management:
- Place orders for materials and equipment required for projects.
- Check and verify material specifications and quantities.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Logistics and Scheduling:
- Arrange transportation and logistics for project materials and equipment.
- Book cranes and other necessary equipment for site operations.
- Coordinate delivery schedules to align with project timelines.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as a point of contact for project stakeholders, including electricians, mechanical teams, fit-out teams, painters, and subcontractors.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination among all parties involved in the project.
- Address and resolve any issues that arise during the project.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including orders, delivery schedules, and project updates.
- Prepare regular status reports for the KAM and other stakeholders.
- Ensure all project records are up-to-date and easily accessible.
Customer Support
- Provide exceptional customer service to key accounts.
- Assist with addressing customer queries and concerns.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a coordination or administrative role, preferably within the manufacturing or fabrication industry.
- Basic understanding of procurement and logistics processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- Experience with ERP systems and project management software.
