Commercial Manager - Peterlee
Jackson Hogg are excited to be working with a growing FMCG client based in Peterlee in their search for a Commercial Manager. You will be responsible for a team of 2 people and you will work closely with Sales, Finance and Procurement.
Key Responsibilities of the Commercial Manager
- Taking responsibility for all product commerciality, acknowledging macro environmental factors acting proactively to counteract potential risks.
- Work as a link between procurement, finance & sales to ensure consistency and shared direction.
- Putting together bids to win new business working with multiple stakeholder groups.
- Working closely with the senior team to negotiate and agree contracts.
- Recognise business opportunities to maximise potential and drive profitability.
- Review and continually review price banding structures to ensure fit for purpose.
- Analyse low profit areas and take proactive action.
- Work with the commercial analyst to ensure all outliers are identified and resolved.
- Effective leadership and mentoring skills to support young team.
- Supplier relationship/interaction to build rapport.
- Work with procurement to secure and implement promotional activity and ensure link to finance for claims.
