Recruit Wealth are delighted to be representing a highly successful, fast growing, national Financial Planning business who are currently recruiting for experienced Paraplanners to join several of their offices across the UK.

What will your role entail?

Accurately prepare suitability reports and letters

Ensure all client work is compliant and supported with relevant paperwork

Undertake comparative research in preparation of client recommendations

Complete technical research as part of the existing arrangement review process

Perform tax planning analysis
-
Produce and analyse cashflow modelling
-
Understand clients’ overall financial position from independent financial adviser factfinds
-
Discuss client objectives with the relevant adviser, identifying and obtaining necessary client information to prepare the required suitability checks

Ensure all client queries are appropriately investigated and accurate responses given

Conduct annual reviews in line with service level agreements
-
Keep up to date with all relevant product, legislative, and technical changes.

Attain and maintain a level of competence as required

Ensure relevant continuing professional development (CPD) is maintained and recorded accurately
What credentials will you have?
-
Experienced Paraplanner - ideally with 2 years+ in the role
-
Able to 'problem solve’ and formulate solutions.

Level 4 Diploma or working towards.

Excellent knowledge of key areas of financial planning, to include trusts, personal taxation, pension legislation, protection, and investment principles.

Attention to detail, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong professional interpersonal skills dealing with both advisers, colleagues and clients, with the aptitude to quickly build rapport.

Fully competent with MS Office, with expert Excel knowledge an advantage. Ideal candidates will also be familiar with industry-specific computer applications.

Ability to work on own initiative with strong organisational skills to plan and manage own workload and prioritise tasks as appropriate.
