Pure are currently supporting a fast paced organisation based in Colchester, with the recruitment of a part qualified Management Accountant, initially on a interim basis to cover maternity leave. This is a fantastic role, working directly with the Finance Director where you will manage a diverse range of core accountabilities, including monthly reporting, provision calculation, management accounts preparation, balance sheet reconciliations, payroll management and VAT returns.
Primary Responsibilities:
Preparation of accurate monthly management accounts
Assist in the preparation of the Board pack along with the Finance Team.
Provide monthly spend analysis.
Prepare cash flow analysis.
Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
VAT returns
Assist in stat accounts
Candidates will ideally be actively studying CIMA or ACCA, and have experience of working in a commercially focused role. You should have excellent communication skills, and have strong IT knowledge.
