Nationwide Travel Expected – predominantly across the midlands
Up to £42,000 (plus bonus/commission)

My client, a global engineering business is looking for a pro-active and driven sales manager to developing key accounts and new business. This role will involve national travel but can be home based with travel to a main office once per month.
This will suit an individual with a background within engineering sales including product knowledge such as: Valves/ actuators/generators/turbines/turbos.
The Role:
Successfully account managing and building client relationships globally
Working with key stakeholders across the OEM market throughout the UK and Europe
Implementing strategic plans to expand grow the current customer base and increase revenue growth
Prepare and present proposals, working with Sales Engineers for tender requirements
Research and pursue new business opportunities and potential markets
Prepare sales reports and forecasts
Create and deliver sales presentations
Meeting key customers
Ideal candidate will have:
Proven experience within engineering/technical sales working with large scale key accounts
Ideally hold a mechanical engineering degree
Proven ability of account management and development of key accounts, ideally working with OEMs
Product knowledge such as: Valves/ actuators/generators/turbines/turbos.
Prior experience of working with European and global accounts
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to sales
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite
The ability to demonstrate high attention to detail
Pay & Benefits:
Salary is up to £42,000 per annum, depending on experience
