Branch Manager

We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy site.
Main role:
The Branch Manager will be responsible for assigning personnel to duties, managing projects, and ensuring the efficient operation of the team to achieve branch objectives. This role involves close liaison with the Freight department, Office Administrators, and customers, ensuring that all packing and delivery requirements are met.

Day-to-day assignment of production team personnel (approximately 10 members) to duties.
Conducting monthly stock takes of materials.
Liaising with the Freight department to support packing and delivery requirements.
Managing projects on the shop floor, facilitating packing work in coordination with the Branch Manager and Office Administrator.
Ensuring safe working practices, including Health and Safety at Work, and enforcing the use of issued safety equipment (PPE).Skills and experience:
Knowledge and experience of working in a warehousing or factory environment are essential.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Good IT skills.
Experience with health and safety training and implementation.
Strong people management skills, including handling staff disciplinary matters.
Full UK Driving licence - required
Forklift licence - preferredSalary and Benefits:
£40,000 - 45,000 per annum
