We are currently representing our client, a 5* new homes developer, who have an enviable reputation for quality and how they treat their staff, who are seeking a Customer Care Manager to join their team in Swindon on a permanent basis.
Duties
The Aftercare Manager/Customer Care Manager’s role will be based around being point of contact for customers that have recently purchased their property and carrying out any inspections required and arranging relevant contractors and works to be carried out during the after-care period.
The role will report to the Director who will support this person day to day as required but the position offers the autonomy and flexibility for this person to build the role around the needs of the businesses as seen fit, determining processes when required and ensuring the customer are at the forefront of the business.
The position will be both field and office-based with the flexibility to work from home as seen fit, as long as the continuous mindset is kept, keeping the customer and clients at the forefront of importance.
Day to day
Carrying out home demos and handover.
Keep in touch with customers and be point of contact.
Carry out inspections of customers’ properties ensuring any defects that need resolving are arranged with relevant trades and contractors.
Coordinate works as required keeping relevant parties up to date.
As the role grows, be involved in quality checks/pre-inspections to ensure a quality build is handed over.
Skills required
Experience working in the new homes industry.
Construction knowledge of defects and issues that arise in new build residential properties.
Understanding of processes in a similar environment that is required to manage this role autonomously.
Flexibility to travel across the patch, predominantly Sussex, South London, Surrey and Kent.
Confidence in meeting customers and speaking with relevant contractors to ensure works are carried out efficiently and to a high level.
