We are seeking a motivated Credit Controller to join our client's finance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. The role is to start as soon as possible, covering a long term sickness.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing and collecting debts from company debtors.
Setting up terms and conditions of credit.
Ensuring timely payment of debts.
Following up payments as needed.
Negotiating repayment plans.
Responding to relevant client inquiries.
Processing and reconciliation of invoices.
Checking and posting receipts to accounting systems.
Preparing statements, client status reports, and other necessary reports.
Liaising with sales and accounts receivable teams. Requirements:
Previous experience in a credit control position although all levels of experience will be considered.
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Familiarity with accounting software is a plus. What We Offer:
