This exciting opportunity will work within a group function, working collaboratively and collectively with a number of organisations within the business to advise and support on Health and Safety matters while assisting in the development and implementation of a group Health and Safety strategy.
This hands-on hybrid position will work autonomously with the majority of projects and offices based within the North West, but will also visit sites nationally.
This newly created Health and Safety Advisor position will be responsible for:
Provide Health and Safety guidance and advice to the group organisations and project teams.
Work closely with senior leaders and the Head of Health and Safety to develop and implement the Health and Safety strategy.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Undertake incident investigations and implement preventative measures to avoid repeating similar incidents.
Conduct Health and Safety audits and inspections.
Drive a positive Health and Safety culture throughout the wider business.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Experience working in Utilities, Renewables, Energy, Construction, Electrical, Logistics or similar.
NEBOSH General or NEBOSH Construction certificate or equivalent as a minimum.
Full UK Driving licence.
Remuneration and benefits:
£45,000 - £50,000.
Company car (electric options) or Car allowance (£8,000 per year).
Up to 15% bonus based on company and personal performance.
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays – option to purchase additional days.
