Are you an experienced and motivated Accounts Administrator looking for a new and exciting challenge? Talk Staff are working with a reputable client based in Belper who are looking for an Accounts Administrator on a temporary, part time basis with the opportunity of a permanent position for the right candidate.
To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials:
Current or recent experience within an accounts role/environment
Proficient with MS Office & Accounting Systems, particularly Excel & Xero
An understanding of payroll would be beneficial
Excellent organisational skills
The ideal candidate will have proven experience within an accounts role. You will be an excellent communicator with fantastic attention to detail. Having knowledge of MS Excel & Xero would be advantageous for this role.
Within this position, you’ll also be:
Monitoring & managing accounts receivable & payable
Organising & maintaining sales ledger & purchase ledger records
Checking incoming purchase ledger invoices for correct invoice amount and quantities as required
Raising any queries regarding invoices and requesting credit notes where required
Posting of invoices onto the internal system
Reconciling accounts against incoming statements
Processing payment runs
Producing sales invoices
Allocating of payments
Bank reconciliations
Posting of journals to correct nominal codes on internal system
Assisting with some payroll duties where required such as pension contributions and the checking & processing of timesheets
Carrying out any ad hoc duties as required
Salary & Working Hours
Salary is £11.50 - £13.00 per hour, dependant on experience
Temporary Contract with the opportunity for a permanent position for the right candidate
Working hours are 21 hours over the week between Monday – Friday, flexibility can be given within reason for the hours
