Job Role: Contracts Manager
Salary: £55,000-£65,000 + Car Allowance (£500 PCM)
Location: Newark/Doncaster (Hybrid working available)
Duration: Permanent contract
Barker Ross are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Contracts Manager to join a fantastic company within the Ground Engineering industry. As the Contracts Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a portfolio of contracts related to ground engineering projects. You will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution and delivery of these contracts within budget and on schedule.
The Job Role:
Reporting directly to department Director.
Accountable for the coordination of projects across all disciplines, at sites across the UK.
Maximising the profitability of projects, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, in budget and in full.
Attend tender handover and deliver prestart meetings to team members.
Ensuring that contracts are accurate and are updated when required.
There may be a requirement to travel to different project sites across the UK.
Ensure that all operations on site are carried out safely.The ideal candidate:
Understanding of health and safety.
Friendly and approachable while professional.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Organised and calm under pressure.
Proactive, positive, and flexible to the needs of the business and the role.
Ability to prioritise own work and work of others to meet deadlines and achieve targets in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Demonstrate a solid one team approach and "can do" attitude.
Qualifications and Experience:
Full UK clean driving license.
Degree in Construction or Ground Engineering related subject.
CSCS Card would be desirable but not essential.
Experience working as a Contract Engineer for at least 2 years, ideally longer.
