The Junior Merchandiser Support the B&M team to optimise sales and profit through accurate stock management, planning, and analysis. Reporting to the Merchandiser
Key Responsibilities:
Plan the Season:

Collaborate with the buying team to build a strategy that optimises sales and profitability.

Develop a balanced, customer-focused range.

Plan and trade the department from top line to line cards
Trade the Department:
-
Manage and trade the department across KPIs to maximise sales and profit.
-
Conduct daily/weekly/monthly analysis and act on results.
-
Present in trade, strategy, and sign-off meetings.
-
Manage WSSI weekly and make trading decisions.
-
React to in-season performance to maximise OTB potential.
-
Monitor competitor activity and its impact.
-
Collaborate with the Retail team to maximise branch-level sales.
Online:
-
Drive sales on internal and external websites, meeting sales targets.

Use web analytics to improve conversion, AOV, and page views.

Maintain relationships with online partners.
