IT Support Engineer
Allegiance Technology are now in a position to hire an IT Support Engineer confident in providing 1st/2nd Line Support, to join their dynamic technical support team on a personal basis. You will be responsible for providing technical support, ensuring efficiency and stability of IT systems, and application support.
Location: Poole
Salary: Up to £30,000
Key Responsibilities:
Provide first and second-level technical support to clients via phone, email, and remote access.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, and network equipment.
Perform system monitoring, maintenance, and backups.
Install, configure, and update software and hardware components.
Assist in the deployment and management of IT projects.
Document technical procedures, configurations, and support interactions.
Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure efficient and effective support delivery.
Experience:
12 months experience of Helpdesk support
Practical experience with Office 365 Admin Centre, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
Active Directory
Windows Server
Group Policy
Familiarity with networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
Virtualisation
Azure
