We Build Recruitment are on the lookout for a Buyer based in the North West and is commutable to Poulton le Fylde. It’s essential that you have a background in electrical work as this company focuses on commercial installations.
With the company steadily growing and winning new tenders, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the company is always prepared from a stock point of view for any project. Ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maintaining a strong supply chain.
As they continue to win more projects and maintain their position as one of the regions largest developers, they need another buyer to come on board. Ensuring that sites are fully prepared to kick off and be able to run smoothly. Without the threat of running out of materials.
If you have an electrical background and experience previously as a buyer then the salary will rise up to £40,000. The work is in the office, hence the need to be able to commute to the Poulton office. This is alongside having training and development opportunities to push you further in your career and 33 days holiday (25+8).
Job Role:

Assisting with purchase order placement with suppliers.

Manage open purchase orders, to resolve partial/ late orders with suppliers.

Receiving and processing weekly deliveries, ensuring they are correctly stored, logged and fit for purpose.

Inputting product cost changes into the ordering system.

Maintain accurate system data

Setting up new items, new suppliers and identifying cost saving opportunities.

Conducting supplier and material analysis.

Liaising with suppliers regularly. Maintaining good working relationships with existing and new suppliers.
Skills and Qualifications:
-
Experience in a similar role such as Buyer for the last 2-3 years

Have a working knowledge of electrical systems

Have literacy with Microsoft packages
