A job opportunity has arisen for an office manager to join a firm of accountants in central Lincoln. The salary is negotiable, dependent on your experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities:
Supervising, directing, and monitoring the work of administrative staff, including stepping in to help when needed.
Help establishing, implementing, and maintaining office procedures.
Administering the organisation's HR and select finance functions by dealing with staff recruitment, training, induction, employment issues, keeping personnel records up to date, arranging interviews and updating financial agreements.
Processing invoices and managing office budgets.
Managing databases and computer systems.
Organising company events and conferences.
Organise and manage office layout, inventory of office supplies, stationery, and IT equipment.
Dealing with correspondence, complaints, and queries.
Ensuring that health and safety policies are up to date.
Assisting senior management team when needed.
Attending meetings with senior management.
Maintain the condition of the office and arrange for necessary repairs.
Check that data protection laws are being adhered to in relation to the storage of data, and review and update policies.
Arrange regular testing for electrical equipment and safety devices.
Manage social media for your organisation.
Liaise with external suppliers and service providers and block junk calls.
Manage contracts with suppliers.
Site visits to other offices as required.
Requirements:
Proficient use of a range of software
Delegate work to staff and manage their workload and output.
Proven experience in office management or administrative roles.
This is a Lincoln based role with the requirement to work in Retford one day per week ideally (may be possible to only work in Lincoln)
