Our client has an opportunity for a Teaching, Learning and Quality Improvement Consultant to join them on an initial 4-month contract.
The Teaching, Learning and Quality Improvement Consultant will work with the Head of Quality to evaluate and improve the delegate and apprentice journey and quality of education across the organisation. You will work with others to enhance and improve the delegate and apprentice experience from enrolment to achievement, through the implementation of the Quality Improvement Strategy.

Location: Moreton-In-Marsh
Rate: Up to £350 per day via Umbrella, inside IR35
Mix of onsite and also travel for conducting teaching and learning observations in the learners' workplace.
What you'll be doing:
To keep abreast of best practice related to the delivery of our standards, teaching, learning and assessment, and to disseminate this information effectively across the organisation.
To be fully conversant with the Ofsted Education Inspection Framework ensuring these standards are fully embedded with all delivery and programme development.
To support the development of our quality assurance and improvement strategies, including teaching, learning and assessment and policies and procedures.
To ensure planned training is aligned to individual needs and meets the business and quality assurance and improvement strategies, and operational requirements.
To produce and maintain a library of inhouse training materials to support individual training needs.
To support the development, design and delivery of training and standardisation sessions, including Education and Training Qualifications to improve the quality of education.
To complete face to face and remote observations of; the learner journey, teaching and learning and evaluating the quality of education and learning experience with clear developmental verbal and written feedback.
To coach and mentor Delivery Coaches and Tutors requiring additional support to improve all stages of the learner journey and learner experience to a minimum of Ofsted grade 'Good'.
To work with Managers to ensure that Delivery Coach and Tutor action plans are appropriate, effective and drive improvement, and that these link into individual reviews.
To work with Managers to ensure that team development needs are accurately identified and prioritised for training.
To support external partners in developing, implementing, and embedding their own strategies to raise the standards and improve the quality of the learner journey, meeting EIF and regulatory body requirements.
To work with Managers, Delivery Coaches and Tutors to promote the use of technology to support improvements in the quality of remote and blended learning.
To work with the Curriculum Development Team, Managers, Delivery Coaches and Tutors to promote health and safety, D&I, BV, prevent, safeguarding, personal development, IAG, employability and English and maths skills within the wider curriculum.
To support Delivery Coaches and Tutors to meet their quality KPIs by identifying areas for improvement and supporting their development.
To conduct quality assurance activities throughout the learner journey, to include deep dives and to support improvement in line with EIF requirements.
Support Delivery Coaches and Tutors with SLAs and monthly forecasts where improvements are identified.
Point of contact for awarding organisations and to conduct external quality assurance activities.
To support the Head of Quality with Matrix accreditation and continued improvements with IAG.
To ensure the CPD calendar includes CPD activities in line with quality improvement needs.
Support the Head of Quality to develop and implement a standardised quality induction for new colleagues.
Implement and maintain colleague development opportunities on internal systems.
Requirements:
To be fully conversant with Ofsted Education Inspection Framework 2019 ensuring these standards are fully embedded with all delivery and programme development.
Full teaching qualification (PGCE, DTLLS, Cert Ed or equivalent).
Minimum Level 2 English and Maths qualifications.
Experience of delivering good or better Apprenticeship/work-based learning outcomes within the last two years.
Experience of leading work-based learning quality assurance and quality improvement activities.
Experience of conducting deep dive quality assurance activities including face to face and remote observations and making judgments in line with the standards identified in the current Education Inspection Framework.
Knowledge of current thinking regarding effective pedagogy, best practice and teaching and learning research and the impact of these on the quality of learning.
Experience of coaching and mentoring individuals to improve standards.
Experience of promoting wider curriculum areas including Prevent, British Values Diversity and Inclusion, Health, and Safety, English and maths, personal development, and employability.
