Role: Accounts Assistant
Salary: Up to £27,000
Located: Sheffield, S9
Hours: 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday (fully office based)
We are currently recruiting for a successful solicitors based in the S9 area of Sheffield. Our client is looking to expand their team with the addition of an experienced Accounts Assistant who will support the Finance Manager with day-to-day responsibilities within finance department. Main duties/responsibilities:

Legal Aid billing
-
Approving Conveyancing Completion Statements
-
Approving payments on Clients Account
-
Posting transactions
-
Posting invoices – both ours sent to clients and those sent to us by suppliers

Bank reconciliations on occasion

Credit control, including implementing diary system to improve current process

Complying with SRA Accounts Rules, AML policy and other firmwide policies

Ad hoc responsibilities to support the Finance Manager
You will have:

Experience within an Accounts / Finance Assistant, position is essential

Experience within the legal sector is desirable but not essential
-
A highly motivated self-starter with excellent communication and organisational skills

Good IT and administrative skills are essential
