An exciting opportunity has arisen within a Local Authority in North West England for a Service Manager for Children's Residential Homes. You will report to the Head of Corporate Parenting and a key focus for the role will be holding Resposible Individual responsibilities as well as oversee the remit of Children's Homes within the Council

Location: North West England, full-time, up to 3 days per week on site
Pay rate: Up to £500/day Inside IR35

About your role as the Service Manager – Children’s Residential Homes:
Operational oversight of a portfolio of 6 children’s homes within the county setting
Deliver service improvements and drive permanency planning with partners across the organisation
Support with stability of internal placements for children and young people
Undertake Responsible Individual responsibilities
Create and foster a collegiate response to corporate parenting
Your required experience as the Service Manager – Children’s Residential Homes:
You will be an established senior leader with recent experience in a children's residential settings
Demonstrable background establishing long term embedded change to be child led whilst also demonstrating improved practice and outcomes in accordance with Ofsted regulations.
Experience within a similar role for 2 years +
Demonstrate ability to manage multiple sites within Residential settings
Minimum Level 5 or higher qualification in Leadership and Management or Social Work Qualification
