Health & Safety Manager
Job Summary:
Looking experienced H&S Manager to join our dynamic team. Ideal candidates will have a background in Construction, bringing valuable expertise to enhance our health & Safety practices.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor Safety, Health, policies and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate H&S risks in construction projects.
- Provide proactive advice on matters to foster a culture of safety and compliance.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess H&S performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents, providing recommendations for prevention.
- Deliver training sessions to enhance H&S awareness and competency within the organization.
- Engage with regulatory bodies and external stakeholders to stay informed about industry developments.
- Proven experience as a H&S in Utilities or Construction.
- Knowledge of relevant H&S regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines without compromising safety and quality.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive and motivating personality.
- Strong communication skills to engage with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Relevant degree or certification in H&S.
- Previous experience in Construction projects is a plus.
- Motivated and dedicated to achieving high standards in H&S performance.
