Our client, a leading Traditional Fit-out Contractor with a turnover of over £100 million is looking for an experienced site-based No.1 Project Manager. As a Project Manager you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects from inception to completion, managing all aspects of the construction process including scheduling, budgeting, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within the budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for projects.

Conduct site assessment to determine the project requirements, risks, and opportunities.

Collaborate with stakeholders to specify project goals, deliverables, and success criteria.

Identify and distribute resources to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.

Manage all the construction activities ensuring that works are performed safely and effectively following the project plans and specifications.

Carry out regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Carry out quality control measures and procedures to identify and address construction errors and deficiencies.

Oversee project costs, cash flows, and provide regular financial updates to stakeholders.

Ensure Health and Safety at work at all times.

Prepare regular updates on project progress, milestones and issues and address stakeholder concerns promptly and professionally.

Prepare project development documentations/records ready for review or submission to senior management.

Degree in Construction Management/ Engineering or related field.

5+ years’ experience in Project Management role within Commercial Fit-out projects.

Proven ability to successfully manage projects and deliver results within budget and schedule.

Strong technical knowledge of CAT A and CAT B Commercial Fit Out.

CSCS, SMSTS/SSSTS, & FIRST Aid Site certifications are ideal.

Strong understanding of current Health & Safety standards & regulations.

Effective verbal & written communication and problem-solving skills.

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.

Proficiency in project management software and tools.
