Job Title: Mechanical Project Engineer - Residential Build
Job Summary: The Mechanical Project Engineer will oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of mechanical systems in residential construction projects. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure all mechanical aspects of the project meet required specifications, codes, and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Design:

Develop and review mechanical designs and layouts for residential buildings.

Coordinate with architects and other engineers to integrate mechanical systems.
Project Management:

Create detailed project plans with timelines, budgets, and resources.

Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary.

Prepare and present regular project status reports.
Construction Oversight:

Supervise the installation of HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems.

Conduct site visits to inspect work quality and adherence to designs.

Resolve technical issues or design conflicts during construction.
Technical Support:

Provide technical guidance to construction teams and subcontractors.

Develop and implement testing procedures for systems.

Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues post-installation.
Compliance and Safety:

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
