Our client is a leading technology company specialising in providing innovative cloud-based solutions for businesses of all sizes.
They are looking to bring on a highly motivated and skilled 1st Line Service Desk Analyst to join a growing team.
As a Service Desk Analyst, you will be responsible for providing first level support to clients, ensuring that their IT issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner. You will work closely with the technical support team to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Provide first-line technical support to clients via phone, email, and remote support tools
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and other IT-related issues
Log, track, and document support requests in the ticketing system, ensuring accurate and detailed information is captured
Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team members, providing clear and concise in-formation regarding the issue
Follow up with clients to ensure their issues have been resolved to their satisfaction
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of knowledge base articles for both internal and external use Technical skills needed:
Windows Server
Windows Desktop
Microsoft Azure
Microsoft Office 365
Active Directory & Azure AD
DNS, DHCP, Group Policy
Backup - Configure, Maintain, and troubleshoot
Networking, switches, subnets, lan, wan, DNS Other Essentials:
Strong work ethic, ability to self-motivate and a keen eye for attention to detail
Must be happy to work independently and as part of a small, close-knit team with a positive personality
1 year+ experience in a technical support or service desk role
Familiarity with cloud-based technologies, such as Azure & Microsoft 365
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
A customer-focused mindset and a commitment to providing exceptional service
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
A full, clean UK driving License and suitable own vehicle (insured for business use) is essential (mileage paid at HMRC rate)
Starting Salary of up to £26,000
