The role involves:
Pre-briefing drivers, providing them with their vehicle documentation, customer paperwork, vehicle keys and, where necessary, customer site keys
Debriefing drivers at the end of their run, ensuring their paperwork has been completed in full and recording any feedback from them which will need to be passed to the management team. Debrief information then needs to be entered onto our Transport Management System.
Answering the phone, responding appropriately to any enquiries, field calls and take messages to pass on to the Transport team.
Interacting with the site team in a professional manner.
Assisting with drivers Tacho records (training can be given)
Running Tachograph and KPI reports at the end of each day and circulated to the wider team.
Transport Clerk Requirements:
You will ensure that your workspace is kept clean and tidy and will be responsible for upholding our workplace safety standards.
You will be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
You will have a positive and friendly attitude.
You will be able to demonstrate good communication skills
You will have strong customer focused service skills.
Transport Office experience, although it is not essential as full training will be given.
Due to location and start time, you will require your own transport
