About the Role:
Our Client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA/QC Manager to oversee the work of the main contractor on a significant industrial capital investment construction project. This is a unique opportunity to lead an inspection team, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance are met throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) processes on-site.
- Lead and supervise the inspection team to ensure all project specifications and standards are met.
- Develop and implement QA/QC policies and procedures tailored to project requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor compliance with contractual and regulatory standards.
- Liaise with the main contractor, project stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to address and resolve quality issues.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on QA/QC activities and findings to senior management.
- Ensure proper documentation of all QA/QC activities and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a QA/QC Manager in the heavy civil construction industry.
- Strong background in managing and leading inspection teams.
- In-depth knowledge of QA/QC processes, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications in QA/QC or related fields are highly desirable
