The Challenge Academy Trust - Directed off site provision
Our directed off-site provision, based at Warrington Wolves’ Halliwell Jones Stadium, is small unit set up to support pupils with a range of additional learning and behaviour needs. Our KS3 provision - ‘Re-route 12’ – is a 12 week off site programme designed to support children experiencing behavioural and attendance issues back into their mainstream school. Our KS4 provision – ‘Recourse’ – supports Year 10 & 11 pupils, who are at risk of permanent exclusion, complete GCSE and vocational qualifications away from their mainstream school.
What we are looking for
We are looking for 2 qualified teachers and a teaching assistant, all initially for a 12 month period, to join our team to support our next cohort of students achieve the best educational outcomes possible. Contracts will initially be appointed to on a fixed term basis.
TEACHING ASSISTANT LEVEL 2 (27.5 hours per week / 39 weeks per year)
TCAT Support Staff Grade 4 – NJC SCP 6-7 (fte salary: £23,893-£24,294 / actual salary: £15,274 - £15,530)

The postholder will work with and supervise individuals and groups students under the direction or instruction of teaching and/or senior staff.

They will enable access to learning for all students taking into account individual learning needs and provide assistance and support in classroom management and behaviour techniques.
